The Hydra looks weird in a bunch of different ways, but cool. I'd like to see it painted or something so I have a better idea what it actually looks like.

I still say the Lion stuff is some of the best PPP that they've done so far. Not enough to make be buy in, but nice looking either way.

Todd

I still don't understand they even bothered to make a hydra model when they went to all the trouble of saying that the Hydra were not going to get an army book and that they were effectively discontinued. Why spend money and time having a sculptor make something that you have already said you are not going to use. It would be a lot nicer if they would finish the 1st six armies(griffin, lion, wolf, tree, scorpion, ram) which they said would only take a year its been almost a year and there are barely 3 armies to play.

One a side not the Hydra model is cool, and the Lions were cool until I saw the Valkyries...what a shame they could have been cool.

Sorry for the long break, I know I was missed so I won't ask if I was....
Anyhow, I have some more pics of the Hydra in progress and a preview of a Lion incarnate.
Feast and enjoy!

Only pages 1-3 are about C:AoR, but I know some play AT-43 so feel free to look through the rest, I won't feel offended.

Well its thanks to Cry Havok that I even know C:AoR is still around. C.H. has gifted me with a few more preview pics of the RAM army (cheers!) this time, and I'm only too happy to share. Page 3 has the C:AoR pics, but AT-43 has the other pages, not bad stuff either.

I also picked up my first all PPP scorpion army, yah! Three incarnates, eight crossbowmen, tweleve hybrids, three specialists, sixteen clones, and six sentinels. I can't wait to crush my foes

Ok, I don't understand why some people need to change these bloody models. I have a whole stack of metal RAM figs and now they wanna revamp some of the units? In Cry Havok #108 p.1 they have some rough models of what they call Skull Warriors, nice name though they just look like "zombies in armor" from the Ragnarok game line. Those I like. Now the model in the center looks like Alderon a rank 2 incarnate from the RAM army, but the lower pic has an almost exact model with a shield and what looks like a halberd...that doesn't fit Alderon at all. I still have all those cards from C3 and on them they tell the story of Alderon. His sword plays a major role, why change the storyline? On p.2, Chagall now with wings! I know he had 2 profiles in C3 maybe in Ragnarok too, but the option of wings or without? Although I could field him with the gargoyles that way... I have no idea what is up with the Wamphyr unit on the top of the page. Could they be a unit from a company that they scrapped in the transition from metal to PPP's? Could it be that they gave the Ghouls wings so they could keep up with their new Chagall? Perhaps they crossed the gargoyles with the ghouls and got these? Better still, its a whole new unit with a crazy scary rating, boss stats and something crazy like regen or hardboiled! ((drools)) Thats all I got for ya now. Hope to see you on the battlefield!

On p.3 of Cry Havok #109
http://www.rackham.fr/newsletter/cry_online/img109/CHO-109_US.pdf
On top we see Athan Zakhil in human form(left) and in monster form(right). Ysis stands in the center between them. I like the look of these models and can't wait for their release. On the bottom picture we see the griffon cannon painted and ready to go. On p.4 ((shiver)) I can't read french, but I can see the numbers....with a res. of 10 and 4 health points to knock off the cannon isn't gonna be ease to stop. Even the crew is buff! Armor of 5, res of 7, and ranged att? Am I gonna have to summon a whole unit just to try and put this thing down? That is, if the griffon player doesn't waste my undead from half the board away. See you on the battlefield.

*this post refers to the following site* http://www.confrontation.fr
There are some nice pictures of Melmoth...unfinished...oh well patience is a virtue, right? The other sights to see are the Nerarious and Dasyatis Primes. They look way nasty and if you click on the image you get a pdf of their stats and the fluff about them from the army books. I can tell you personally that the Nef Prime is a tough bugger and the Dasy Prime has a res of 12! Not to mention sequence and savage. I think my scorp army is about to get a lil' monster heavy...heh heh heh. See you on the battlefield.
